Name Dusty Grein
About Me Dusty Grein is the Managing Editor of Rhetoric Askew—a small press publishing company—as well as a graphics designer, author, and poet. Originally from Federal Way, Washington, he is a lifetime resident of the Pacific Northwest. He currently lives in Oregon State, where his teenage daughter and a dog named Naked are working together to keep him in line. His critically acclaimed novel, The Sleeping Giant, is available in print and as a Kindle Select title. His shorter works and award-winning poetry have been published in several journals and collections, including Chicken Soup for the Soul, Better Than Starbucks magazine and Our Write Side Inked. An ACP certified poet and self-proclaimed neo-classicist, his poetic focus is on keeping metered poetry fresh and alive–both the classic forms of yesterday and the newest ones of today. He is a consulting editor for The Quarterday Review and a contributing member of The Society of Classical Poets. Several of his how-to essays on writing classical poetry are available online as well.
