"Dante and Virgil Flown by Ceron" by Roberto Bompiani‘In My Dreams’ by Connie Phillips The Society April 24, 2018 Beauty, Poetry 12 Comments In my dreams, I always see you smiling, Your bright eyes twinkling like a million stars. In my dreams, there is no sense to crying, Your gentle touch has healed the painful scars. We stroll alone together, hand in hand, As if we cross the cosmos with our steps. The suns and moons like tiny grains of sand, Soon disappear along with all regrets. In my dreams, you sing, and we start dancing, The galaxies adorn my wispy dress. In my dreams, we joke and can’t stop laughing, Such joy and peace no words can e’er express. In all my dreams, we never are apart; Beyond all time, you’ll always have my heart. Connie Phillips is a former English teacher and editor living in Massachusetts.
