"Die Bauern und die Zeitung" by Albert Samuel Anker‘On the Press-ident’ by Caud Bile Sewer The Society March 11, 2017 Culture, Poetry 3 Comments The Press is not the enemy, but Donald Trump is right; the Press is disingenuous; they cannot get it right. Left in the midst of overladen, value-judgment words, left in the air, they’re like a flock of one-wing, flapping birds. The journalists have difficulty being more diverse. It is as if they are within an echo chamber’s curse. The World is more complicated than they seem to see. They swarm around DC, but currents also run AC. The public is not stupid; they can see more points of view. The Press was not elected Press-ident by me or you. Caud Bile Sewer is a poet living in Washington State. 3 Responses Amy Foreman March 11, 2017 Grin-worthy! Reply Joseph S. Salemi March 12, 2017 “Left in the midst…” “left in the air…” Let’s just say LEFT. That’s all you need to know about Mainstream Media. Reply E. V. "Beth" Wyler March 13, 2017 This poem is very cleverly constructed. Reply Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.CommentName* Email* Website Δ
