‘Blessed with Sight’ by Kelly Andre of Ridgecrest, California The Society December 26, 2012 Poetry Oh Beautiful glorious day, Let your sunlight shine on me! Let your many clouds of gray Fade above the lovely sea. Let the mountains in the distance Shine such vibrant purple glows. Let all beauty show existence, While your streams give steady flows. Let the trees stand proud and tall In the forests of the land. Let the leaves grow bright in fall, Let the high cliffs always stand. Shall the robins chirp alone? Join the birds in joyful song! Make your voices all well known, And be glad to sing along! For with beauty we are blessed, In a land where we are free! So let’s all act our best, And take delight in all we see.
