Shakespeare Wrote Shakespeare

The many works that bear his name;
But surely if that were the case,
A rival would have blown his game…

Inner Beauty

My wife was born without her eyes;
She cannot love her pretty face,
Yet knows her inner beauty shines:
Ah, there indeed  I see her grace.

A Prehistoric Genius

A prehistoric genius
Was famed for using fire;
He also gave the world the wheel,
But not, alas, the tyre.

Jack Horne lives in Plymouth, England and works for the local theatre. Writing is his main interest.
