‘Leave Our Kids Alone!’: On COVID-19 Vaccines for Children, by Susan Jarvis Bryant The Society September 20, 2021 Covid-19, Culture, Poetry, Rondeau Redoublé 27 Comments . Leave Our Kids Alone! “Fauci: Officials Will Decide on COVID-19 Vaccine Recommendation for Children Aged 5 to 11 Soon” —Epoch Times Headline 9/20/2021 The mask is off. Come see the twisted face Of devilry beneath each wily lie. The truth has been erased without a trace To coax the mild and make the wild comply. Potions in perpetual supply Are rolled out at a wicked, warp-speed pace, Then pumped into the coerced by the sly. The mask is off. Come see the twisted face. The side effects and deaths are a disgrace, But who will do truth’s duty and decry The charlatans whose schmooze defends the case For devilry beneath each wily lie? As mandate days march on and slither by Vax tragedies are tucked away post-haste, While cunning tongues detract and falsify— The truth has been erased without a trace. Some of us know liars spike and lace The facts we’re fed; they’re craftily awry. Some of us know sin is commonplace To coax the weak and make the meek comply. Come look the devil in the tricky eye. Listen to the hiss that says he’ll race To jab our kids. The time’s come to deny Each precious child Big Pharma’s sick embrace… __The mask is off! . . Susan Jarvis Bryant is from Kent, England. If a child is infected, the risk of death is 1 to 3 in 100,000. The risk from the jab is greater than that. What is really happening that we don’t know about? This English funeral director knows… our children will be murdered next. https://odysee.com/@thecrowhouse:2/MUST-WATCH-Funeral-Directer-John-O'Looney-Blows-the-Whistle-on-Covid:9 https://www.projectveritas.com/news/federal-govt-whistleblower-goes-public-with-secret-recordings-government/ Reply Mike Bryant September 26, 2021 “To me, it’s unconscionable that a society uses its children as shields for adults. Children do not have a significant risk from this illness… Are we [as] a society, a civilization … going to inject our children with an experimental drug that they don’t have a significant benefit from, to shield ourselves?” —Dr. Scott Atlas Reply Mike Bryant September 26, 2021 Study abstract states: “A novel best-case scenario cost-benefit analysis showed very conservatively that there are five times the number of deaths attributable to each inoculation vs those attributable to COVID-19 in the most vulnerable 65+ demographic. The risk of death from COVID-19 decreases drastically as age decreases, and the longer-term effects of the inoculations on lower age groups will increase their risk-benefit ratio, perhaps substantially.” For our children it’s more like 20 times the number of deaths attributable to inoculation vs those attributable to COVID-19… have we really become so stupid that we can’t cry out against this? https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S221475002100161X# Reply Mike Bryant September 20, 2021 A whistleblower: Jodi O’Malley, Insider and Registered Nurse, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services: The COVID vaccine is “not doing what it’s purpose was.” O’Malley: “I’ve seen dozens of people come in with adverse reactions.” O’Malley: “If we [government] are not gathering [COVID vaccine] data and reporting it, then how are we going to say that this is safe and approved for use?” O’Malley: I’m not afraid of blowing the whistle “because my faith lies in God and not man…You know, like what kind of person would I be if I knew all of this — this is evil at the highest level. You have the FDA, you have the CDC, that are both supposed to be protecting us, but they are under the government, and everything that we’ve done so far is unscientific.” O’Malley: “At the end of the day, it’s about your health, and you can never get that back — and about your freedom, and about living in a peaceful society, and I’m like, ‘no.’ No. This is the hill that I will die on.” Reply Cynthia Erlandson September 21, 2021 Another brilliant “jab” at Big Pharma and Big Government, Susan! When I first saw the title, Pink Floyd’s dreadful “song” “We Don’t Need No Education” popped into my head, and made me think that the first line of your poem was going to be, “We don’t need no vaccination!” Anyway, I’m thankful for your amazing ability to use a beautiful poetic form to tell the truth about a sickening situation. Reply Susan Jarvis Bryant September 21, 2021 Thank you very much, Cynthia. You are spot on with the Pink Floyd thought… I was very tempted to precede “Leave Our Kids Alone!” with “Hey, Fauci!”, but reined myself in. 🙂 Reply David Watt September 21, 2021 Susan, I’m delighted to see you employ your poetic skills in addressing this particular issue! The media are bombarding us with the idea that our children are spreaders, and thus must be jabbed. We are assured that there is no downside, but how can anyone know the long-term consequences? Thanks very much. Reply Susan Jarvis Bryant September 21, 2021 Thank you for your support on this one, David. I was going to turn my back on this subject for a while, but simply had to address the plight of the children before doing so… nothing riles me as much as children being exploited in the name of politics. Reply Brian Yapko September 21, 2021 Susan, thank you for another scathingly brilliant poem. Since my first rondeau redouble I have come to understand the meticulous craft which goes into writing a challenging form such as this. I am therefore both astonished and dazzled that you were able to write it, polish it and publish it at warp speed! On a general note, I can see from some of your recent poems that you have decided to take the devil on no-holds-barred. That is a brave and wonderful thing. We have a common enemy, you and I! As for the anger you display in this poem, I fully understand your passion since I have in the past acted as an advocate for children – our most vulnerable. Parents generally try to do the right thing. I don’t know enough about the vaccine to really say aye or nay but I do know that it is a terrible thing to take away parental choice in things like medical care. It’s also a mistake, I think, to leave important decisions to children who do not have the life-experience to be able to make informed choices. Personally, I am greatly disturbed by the current practice of pitting children against parents to force life-altering decisions like prepubescent gender reassignment on children who can’t possibly understand the implications of what they’re doing. Such difficult times these are. Thank you for your talent and your passion. As always, you give us much to think about. Reply Susan Jarvis Bryant September 21, 2021 Brian, I really appreciate your comment on my latest warp-speed rondeau. I love this form for its repetition… and I really wanted to hammer the points you make home. Our children are indeed our most vulnerable members of society, and at the moment they are the most ill treated, especially on the prepubescent gender reassignment front. So many decisions are being taken out of parents’ hands by those who have no care whatsoever for our children, and I needed to vent my spleen poetically. I am heartened to have your backing and would like to thank you for the part you have played in acting as an advocate for children. In today’s cruel world, they need all the help they can get. Reply Margaret Coats September 21, 2021 Susan, in this poem you manage the artistry of words perfectly within the distinctive and demanding opportunities the form provides. A beautiful treatment of a dastardly subject. I am grateful for Mike reiterating the unspiked facts as Comments begin. These become tiring to repeat for those of us who have heard them over and over, but clearly they bear repeating ad infinitum, both in prose and verse. I immediately thought of the “nu variant” stories I’m hearing. Children were recently dangerous to adults as possible virus transmitters, but since many of them have been back to in-person school, there are now alarming surges everywhere of actual cases in children. Of course the risks remain where they were for the children; adults now fear numbers rather than illness. Or, when a child is sent home for two weeks to get over a case without symptoms, the mother may be annoyed by loss of her own freedom and income. But after all, this devilry is payback to those who considered it an injustice to keep children out of school. Now that they are back in, of course lockdowners must be logically aghast at the result, and punish whole families for wanting a normal life. Reply Susan Jarvis Bryant September 21, 2021 Margaret, thank you for your lovely comment. Of course, I especially like “A beautiful treatment of a dastardly subject”. I am also longing to put this wonderful form to use with a far more fitting subject that involves a little fun, but this poem just called out to me… as poems of this nature seem to be doing far too often these days. As you have noted, Mike is a facts man who trawls through information tirelessly in an effort to uncover the truth in a world full of lies. He lets me know exactly what’s going on and being the poet I am, I simply can’t ignore the matters that get to me. I really appreciate your understanding and your support. Reply Yael September 21, 2021 Great job Susan! This poem moves right along and doesn’t hold back the punches. The title did immediately conjure up Pink Floyd’s The Wall album in my mind too, but that’s where the similarities ended, as the poem didn’t go in that direction. It would make a good protest song though in nearly any popular genre of music. Reply Susan Jarvis Bryant September 21, 2021 Yael, what a great comment! Whenever you hear music in my poetry, it’s a huge compliment. I think the only way we can deal with the world’s problems today is through poetry and music. People are so tired of the soul-destroying headlines… unless, of course, they’re on the Turtletown Bard Service Evening News… now that’s a completely different story. 😉 With much appreciation for all your support. Reply Peter Hartley September 21, 2021 Susan – thank you for this poem and for the laudable efforts to expose what is tantamount to child abuse, there are really no other words to describe it more succinctly than that. Brian above speaks of children being pitted against their parents in matters on which, as prepubescents, they are incapable of making informed choices. I have heard of children as young as four being asked if they would like to be a boy or a girl when they are grown up, opening up to them the possibilities of gender re-assignment before they can write their own names. It is prurient, it is disgusting; it is dastardly, as Margaret remarks above, and it is the worst possible disservice of all at such an age to be pitting children against their parents in matters of choice at all, never mind in those that engender responsibilities that a small child is incapable of assuming. That is what its parents are there for. They are not there to cook a child a well-balanced meal and then to say to the child, “Do you like carrots, parsnips? Do you want any beans? Do you not like peas? Yes, no, no, yes. Giving choices even at the level of what they eat is imposing responsibilities they don’t need. Throughout the animal kingdom parents know what to feed their own offspring, and their offspring eat what they are given. Thank you Susan, once again, for painting such an eloquent picture of one of the great abuses of our age. Reply Susan Jarvis Bryant September 22, 2021 Peter, thank you very much for your wonderful comment. It exudes the sort of wisdom the world has forgotten. For too many years our children have had their childhood stolen. Parents are often portrayed as an inconvenience – the government’s ideal is the way forward. Only they know what is best for our children. The trouble is, they don’t. And, that is exactly why the children are suffering. And, guess what? I’m beginning to sound just like my grandparents. I simply have to go in search of a plethora of pudgy gluts and put them to good use in a poem about the wonder of capybaras before I buy a tartan shawl and start sucking Werther’s Originals during old episodes of Morecambe and Wise. By the way, the point you make about the animal kingdom is spot on. I always learn great lessons from the furred and feathered ones. Thank you! Reply Joe Tessitore September 22, 2021 Bravo Susan, bravo Mike, and bravo Jodi O’Malley! “This is the hill that I will die on” is a refrain I’m hearing more and more. Reply Susan Jarvis Bryant September 22, 2021 Joe, thank you. Who would’ve thought it would come to this? My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone fighting for our freedoms – our voices and choices mean everything. If they’re taken away, we’re no longer human. Reply Joe Tessitore September 24, 2021 It occurs to me that it’s come full circle – they cooked up the gruesome juice from the blood of aborted infants, and now they’re injecting it into children. Mike Bryant September 23, 2021 Bill Gates, the self-professed philanthropist and supporter of vaccines worldwide, has a little trouble explaining his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. He did fly on the Lolita Express to Orgy Island. Watch our puppet master being grilled by PBS, surprisingly. Has he had an attack of conscience? Hah! https://videos.whatfinger.com/2021/09/22/well-this-is-awkward/ Reply Mike Bryant September 23, 2021 Another beautiful rondeau-redoublé with an important message. The way you string words on lines is astonishing. The lies just keep coming, and you just keep pointing them out. You are formidable! Reply Mike Bryant September 23, 2021 Los Angeles study proves that unvaccinated children in the schools are not a problem, yet Fauci calls for every child to be jabbed. https://www.independentsentinel.com/la-study-very-few-infected-kids-staff-despite-unvaccinated-kids-under-12/ Reply Yael September 24, 2021 Here’s an interesting commentary on this topic from an entirely different part of the world: https://odysee.com/@Mulato_Man_Gabe:e/whatistocomeforvaxx:5 This is what I love about the internet and this poetry site; it’s not lukewarm at all. Reply Mike Bryant September 24, 2021 Wow! Reply Mike Bryant September 24, 2021 NIH STUDY CONCLUDES IVERMECTIN WORKS! QUOTE: Because we’ve come to expect nothing but cover-ups and anti-science diktats from NIH and its subdivisions, NIH has published on its website and article in the July-August issue of the American Journal of Therapeutics that concluded that “large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin.” The study authors continued, “Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease. The apparent safety and low cost suggest that ivermectin is likely to have a significant impact on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic globally.” Of course, those of us who have been listening to tip-of-the-spear doctors with integrity—like Dr Bryan Ardis, Dr Richard Bartlett, Dr Eric Nepute, and America’s Frontline Doctors and others—knew this months ago, but it’s nice to know that Medicine, Inc. is FINALLY admitting the truth.
