Something in the Water

The swimmer had removed her clothes,
__Then turned and gave a wail,
For in the dressing room there was
__A biologic male.

Man’s voice, broad shoulders, 6 foot 4,
__With men he could not win.
But then the college gurus
__As a woman let him in.

The female swimmer was distraught
__To lose her privacy,
Inside a women’s locker room,
__But that’s Left lunacy.

The male then won a woman’s title,
__Women took the fall,
But Democrats and liberals just
__Saw nothing wrong at all.

Well sorry folks, but I don’t think
__It’s any kind of meanness,
That women’s races not be won
__By someone with a penis.

Obama Taught Harris to Lie

Obama said that he opposed gay marriage,
Because he needed Black votes—problem solved!
The Democrats all knew that he was lying,
And once he won, his views, of course, “evolved.”

Now here comes Harris, learning from that sleaze.
She’s flip-flopped on the need to build a wall,
A ban on gas-run vehicles and fracking,
Defunding cops, and Medicare-for-all.

Like with Obama, Dems all know she’s lying,
But do not care, and deem it as mere “spin,”
They’re sure she’ll change right back in her first minute,
Lies justified as tools Dems need to win.

That fits my “Masters of Deception” perfectly. Between the ruination of women’s sports and the certain ruination of our country if Harris is elected, the lies and hypocrisy of the leftists is unmatched in modern history, and we shall all pay the price. Both poems expose their degradation, and deterioration wishes for all we once had and still firmly believe.

Thank you Roy. I feel that the Left today is shockingly misguided, to put it mildly.

You’ve got their number, Russel. And you’ve still managed to keep your sense of humor through all this. We still need humor; the left lost theirs long ago, it seems.

Thank you Cynthia – you’ve got my number! I couldn’t write about most of this crazy stuff unless there was some humor to find in it!

You, Russel, are one of the writers on this site who help keep me sane. I imagine that writing these barbed gems helps to keep you sane, as well. Here in Massachusetts sanity is considered a disability. How is it in Illinois?

CB I share your opinion of Russel’s work. Here in Britain, incidentally, sanity is increasingly considered not a disability but an offence.

Thank you David. Here, insanity seems to be an asset in certain political circles.

Russel, regarding your “Obama Taught Harris to Lie” poem, not only do the Demented Party politicians go back on their word if elected, but they also go back on their accent!

Thank you Russel, for having shined a light on how devious and deceptive the double-faced Demented Party actually is.

Great stuff, Russel. I only wish that I hadn’t seen the accompanying photo before lunch.

Thank you Cheryl. That photo is Evan’s humor – although Ketanji Brown Jackson is confused by it all.

The spin may be, Russel, that lies about political stance are justified to win. But can liars trust one another, even after win or loss? And what about unjustified kinds of lying? Or the little people who learn truth is trash from the example of Big Lying? This is a serious mess with less humor in it–though I think your humor is still valuable!
