‘We Love You Charlie’: A Poem for Charlie Kirk by Richard Lackman The Society September 22, 2025 Culture, Poetry . We Love You Charlie Charlie, Charlie, Charlie We’re so sad to see you die. Sorry, Sorry, Sorry Couldn’t even say goodbye. Heaven, heaven, heaven Is where you are I’m sure. Evil, evil, evil Is what we still endure. Hatred, hatred, hatred Has left its mark on Earth. Goodness, goodness, goodness We pray for all we’re worth. Sickness, sickness, sickness Is what it is to hate. Heaven, heaven, heaven We pray it’s not too late. Charlie, Charlie, Charlie Couldn’t even say goodbye. Charlie, Charlie, Charlie Our love will never die. . . Richard Lackman is an orthopaedic cancer surgeon and poet.
