Ron L. Hodges earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English (creative writing focus) from San Diego State University; he attained his Master’s Degree in English Literature (19thcentury concentration) from CSU Long Beach. After an extended break from creative writing, Ron began composing poetry just a few years ago. His work has thus far appeared in Ancient Paths Literary Magazine, Calvary Cross, A Time of Singing, The Road Not Taken, and the 2015 and 2016 Society of Classical Poets Journal. Ron took first place in The Society of Classical Poets 2016 poetry competition. He lives in Orange County, California, with his wife and two sons, and currently works as a high school English teacher. Ron L.
